Module Acquisition

The "FARMER" or agro-entrepreneur acquires the technological module with "Farm in the City" and according to the local demand chooses the product to grow. With the respective training and the guidelines of the "Farm in the City" program and its technology, the farmer will start the operation of his cultivation module.

The "FARM IN THE CITY" team provides guidance and training on the product to be grown.

Operation "Farm in the City"

The "Farmer", once he has completed intensive training for the operation of the module, starts his crop production throughout the year regardless of climate or agricultural experience. With this technology, the quality of the harvests is guaranteed thanks to the cultivation in a controlled environment avoiding pests and crop losses.

"Nucleus"

After the harvest time has elapsed according to the type of crop, the Farmer is ready to ship and invoice the products to Nucleus from Farm in the City. The program pays Nucleus 30 days after invoicing.

Nucleus is in charge of marketing farmers' crops.

Distribution

The "Nucleus" program, through its fleets, distributes the products in the different established sales channels. We emphasize that the products are kept under the ideal temperature and under a reduced transfer time to promote nutritious and fresh crunchy crops.

"Farm in the City" promotion

The availability and consumption of the products will be promoted through different online and offline media or tools, promoting directly in the same points of sale, and indirectly through education for food safety, the consumption of organic greens and support for our Puerto Rican harvest.

Technical Support

Once a month the Farm in the City technician visits each cultivation module for maintenance and calibration. In addition, he supplies inputs for the next month of cultivation and keeps a log of procedures for each operation required by the FSMA Law.
